I really don’t know why I am writing this I think it is because of the overwhelming amount of younger and older kids in church today. I have always had a bond with children. I love holding, cuddling, teaching, watching, helping extr. the babies. I hope you feel the same way. God has given some of us siblings and some of us none, but we thank him anyways. Me being the oldest of four children you would think I had a lot of experience but really I haven’t and if I did do a lot with my siblings I don’t remember much. {Being almost 6 years ago that my youngest sibling was born} I have only one sister 6 years younger than me too, so I think that might be a reason that I enjoy children because I don’t have little siblings to cuddle, though I have to admit that they do let me cuddle a little bit. Anyways when you see a child crying but something tells you, “Well their mother will take care of that.” Where in the world did that come from?!! Ignore that conscience and move on. Pick up that child and do some babysitting.:) This goes for all of us. Let’s be open to the children that want or need attention. Little do you know how much that might mean to them. Anyways just some thoughts and feeling down on paper! And here is another old one! Music. Ah! The pleasant melodies running through my head. Music is not to be higher than God and it can be easy to make it so. Music is a needed thing in my life. I have a passion and somewhat talent for music. Having a lesson in music, on two different instruments, in one hour is kind of stressful, but it doesn’t need to be. It also can be enjoyable. I remember wanting to play violin and my parents said,……“No, not until after you have at least two years of piano. I was sorta disappointed but after I started I really like it and play piano pretty well now. After piano though I didn’t go to violin {even though I did try for a little it didn’t work out} I went to ukulele and mandolin and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I think music is important in everyone’s lives to praise and worship the Lord. It also seems to settle an inner joy and peace inside of you. And for one other thing music seems to do is put you on the positive, good side of things. Have you ever had a passion for music? Have you ever attempted starting music? Do you play many or one instrument? I would love to hear about it! {Tell me through the comments!} Well that's all for today folks!

When some think of Easter they think bunnies and eggs.
Now where in the world did that come from? Bunnies don’t even come out of eggs. I have been thinking about it and my cousin came up with the conclusion that Jesus came out of the tomb just like a chick comes out of an egg. Now I don’t really believe that, but that was his idea. I don’t know where the bunnies come in So if you have any ideas comment below. But before I stop writing I am going to type up a little of my thoughts on the resurrection and crucifixion chapters. So get out your Bible because I suggest that you read the verses and then check out the thought. {or it might not make sense} Luke 22:40 Notice that is says,…… ” ….that ye enter not into temptation.” I thought that was interesting in the fact that Jesus is kind of saying if you do not pray Satan will take that privilege. I don’t know really what it means but that is what it tells me. Luke 22:42 I thought it was interesting that Jesus said deliver me and then He said but do whatever is your will. That is what we as Christians need to do. Even if we may be going through the shadow of death and we say deliver me. What we need to say is, “Lord whatever is your will let it happen.” Luke 22:44 I don’t know if you ever thought about it but in a different way and reason Jesus shed His blood before He even reached the cross. The Bible says He sweated blood. He shed His blood because He was stressed because He knew what was happening. Let’s stop again and thank Jesus for the blood he shed for us. Luke 22:64 Do we sometimes do what the soldiers did to Jesus. Do we say, “If your so great then do it yourself.” We shouldn’t do that, we are told God will help us, but you need to work too, not just leave it to God. Let’s try to change that, at least I am going to try. Luke 23:40 This verse caught my attention I really don’t know why. But is was the criminal that said these words. And in our own words it was like he said, “You still don’t respect him even though he is in the same situation as you.” I would say that is when he came to the realization that he and everyone needs Christ. So that is what I have if you have questions or comments please say so below. Just a couple thoughts! Please comment below! Have a blessed day! |
